Communicating The Mighty Revelations God Has Given Us

Sunday Evenings
6th to 20th November 2011
First Lisburn Presbyterian Church
Upper Room
From 6.30pm to 8.00pm

Dr. Richardson looks forward to delivering this series of talks when his subject will be communicating the mighty revelations God has given us in Creation, the Bible, and Jesus Christ.

Dates

Sunday 6th November
Creation

Sunday 13th November
The Bible

Sunday 20th November
Jesus Christ

It is Dr. Richardson’s conviction that many of the obvious failures in the church today are due to confusion and misunderstanding regarding what we are meant to communicate; inadequate and inappropriate means of communication and an unbiblical emphasis on “who’s right” rather than “what’s right.”

Please do come along and be assured of a very warm welcome as together we look at the importance, the means, and the rewards of communicating these mighty revelations.

Jack Richardson is no stranger in the Lisburn area having been a minister in Hillhall Presbyterian church for almost 25 years. Now retired from parish ministry, he lives with his wife Sally in Culcavy, Hillsborough. He continues to be used to preach God’s word within and beyond the presbyterian church and remains a Presbyterian chaplain in Lagan Valley hospital – a position he has held for over 25 years. His services to the Lisburn community through support for policing, education in day schools and hospital chaplaincy were recognised when, in 2007, he was awarded an MBE by Her Majesty, the Queen. In the same year the Presbyterian theological faculty of Ireland awarded him a Doctor of Divinity degree in recognition of outstanding service within the Presbyterian church in Ireland.

Please Note

Prayer Healing Ministry team will be available after the services.
You might find it helpful to bring your bible.
Music group will take part.
Tea will be provided afterwards for those who would like to stay and chat.
