Sunday Services
Morning worship starts at 11.00am. The Vestibule (the entrance of the church) is often the first place where folk make contact with the Congregation. It is staffed each Sunday with some members who are on ‘Porch Duty’. Their job is to welcome you, make sure you have a Sunday Bulletin which contains all the weekly notices and ensure that you feel at home.

Church is more than worship – it is about belonging to the family of Jesus Christ and his people. There are many aspects to this belonging. Most important is getting to know Jesus Christ and using your talents in his service. In this we are all disciples – learners together.

Getting to know people in a large congregation is not easy! This website will introduce you to a few names and faces and let you know a bit about the people you will meet in First Lisburn. It allows you to know what’s happening and when.

Children and Sunday School
Children gather at the front after the first hymn and prayer for their part of worship – their introduction to the Light Years programme which we all follow most Sundays before leaving for Sunday School. The whole church family is thinking about the same Bible story – at a variety of levels, in church and in Sunday School.

Crèche
Crèche operates during morning worship and is located in the crèche room in the Vestibule. This means parents are never far from baby. The boys and girls of Sunday School raised the funds to equip our new crèche.
