Wavelength is First Lisburn’s own quarterly magazine, filled with articles written by organisations and members of the congregation about their activities throughout the year.
Wavelength first took its form in 1998 when Anne Kain, a former member of the congregation, expressed her interest in helping Rev. Dr Gordon Gray (our Minister Emeritus) in creating a news sheet. Since then, members of First Lisburn have been receiving seasonal updates of every aspect of church life.
In 2003, Anne moved to Scotland and so was succeeded by Mary McNeight. Mary and her team of volunteers were instrumental in expanding Wavelength and bringing it to its full potential.
After five years of service as editor, Mary retired from the post in 2009, leaving the magazine in the very capable hands of Hilary Diamond.
Wavelength ventured onto the World Wide Web in October 2009, and can now be read on-line by family and friends of those at First Lisburn.
